We conducted a survey among Tarcento residents to find out their views on local tourism. The results of this survey shed an objective light on the perception of Tarcento as a tourist city. We invite you to read the results of our survey!
Is Tarcento a rich tourist town?
We asked residents whether they consider Tarcento to be a rich tourist city. Most residents responded negatively. This may show us that from the tourists’ perspective the town is attractive for tourists, but the residents think otherwise.
Quality of tourist services
The next question for residents was:
“How do you rate the quality of the tourist services in Tarcento (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, attractions)?
The residents almost unanimously decided that there was no shortage of “standard” places in the town.
Public transport
“How do you rate the availability of public transport in Tarcento, on a scale from 1 to 10?” – this was our next question. You could say that when it comes to the possibility of traveling to nearby towns, there is nothing to complain about!
The next question we asked also concerned public transport:
“Do you often use public transport?”
The answers show that they prefer to use their own means of transport – but they appreciate the opportunity they receive from their city.
Is there something missing then?
That was our last question. It turns out that there are a few things that the inhabitants of Tarcento are missing. The answers included modern cafes where you can drink coffee and places where young people could spend their free time.
These are the results of our survey. They allow us to look at Tarcento through a different prism than just a tourist one. The residents like their town, but there are shortcomings that should definitely be taken care of in their opinion.
